Hi guys! How are you? I hope you're fine. Today, I'm gonna write about my experience learning english; a thing a little bit common nowadays, luckily!  So, first; I learn english in the school, and for me it's not something hard, like other subjects; english for me it's something fast to learn; I love practice my writting and my pronunciation, I love learn new words and verbs, I'm a curious guy about the english.  When I get into the university; I do a test and I pass the two first levels (english I and english II) and for a little bit I don't pass III level to; so, the first semester I do english III and today, I'm finishing the english IV. In the university I don't learn a lot of new english; I mean, was more to practice what I know and get better my pronunciation... Hi guys? How are you? I hope you are fine. Today, I'm gonna talk about something really important; the study programme, and for be more specific, my study programme on the university. Well, I know, all the world say "The university is not like the school", but it's true, sadly; in the school you can answer a test without have studied before, just with the class and what the teacher said. But in the university; the teacher say a little bit of the content, all the rest is your responsibility and you have to study a lot, for understand and have good marks.  I study Biochemistry, and I have subjects like chemistry, calculus, physics, and biology; a introduction of every science. Hi guys! How are you? Today i'm gonna talk about the holidays; that wonderful time to relax and rest of the year.  I think the vacations are so important. For me, this year was amazing but at the same time so exhausting; because the university is not like the school, and this months I live alone, so, that it's a little bit different what I was accustomed.  The holidays, I think I really deserve it!  So, first; I just want sleep and relax, ride in my bike and spend time with my family and my friends. Hi guys!!! How you doing? Let's gonna talk about something so popular in this century, or in our society. Let's talk about drugs. I want to explain, a drug is not only marihuana, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines, hallucinogens, or inhalants; for me, a drug  it's everything can make addiction in a person. So, we can find drugs like chocolate, candies, sports, medicine, gym or, even social medias.  Nowadays, social medias are in almost everything. Hi guys! How you doing? Today, I'm gonna talk about postgraduate studies. As you know, I study biochemistry in the Universidad de Chile, and now; I have to write about the postgraduate studies. First, a postgraduate study is a university grade, like a PhD, a master or a diploma. The main requirement is have a pregrade grade, and have good marks and, one of the most important thing I think is, write an application letter; about your motivation to study a grade.  As I study Biochemistry, I would like to do a PhD or a master in that area. The main reason to I would like to study a PhD, for example, or a master; is the passion of what you do and what you study, so; a grade like this can show you a more big and wonderfull vision of the science. Hi Guys! How you doing? Today I'm gonna talk about hobbies. I think hobbies are so important! When you study in the university, or work really hard, the hobbies can help you to relax and keep the mind in something different, in something you love.  One of my favorite hobbies it's swimming. I tried this semester and I love it. I do once time a week and it's so relaxing; do sports is important and I don't like football or basquetball so, swim it's one of I like. Swimming consist in swim in a pool, the teacher make different exercises to do, like swim back, with a board and in different styles, like croll, in back, butterfly and chest. Actually I'm learning to swim in croll style, and it's funny. Swimming for me it's so important, it's healthy and important for the life, and a cool way to relax and train the body jajaja.  The body is composed of a careful and smart system, each system is composed at the same way, of organs with specifics works and functions; the organs are composed of tissues, and the tissues, ending the idea, are composed of cells. So, the cell is wonderfull; in it, all the metabolic reactions have place, all the reactions what make possible the life occur in the cell.  As I write, the cells make issues and the issues makes organs. Let's talk about they. All the organs are important, except the appendix; because her function is unknown, but I think if is a organs, must have a function. One of the most incredibles and importants organs in the body is, for me, the heart. Hi Guys! How you doing? Back to the little vacations we have. Today I'm gonna talk about future jobs. I decided to study biochemistry because it's one of this career what, when you graduate of it, can work in a lot of places, you can investigate, be a teacher of university; or maybe high school if you want, work in a laboratory, you can be a businessman, or businesswoman I don't know, you can discover about everything about science. As a biochemist, you can work in molecular biology, in medicine and health, in neuroscience, in chemistry and, of course; in biochemistry. Hi guys! How are you? This time, i'm gonna write about holidays. I think holidays are so important; it's a time to relax and rest, time to do something different and forget for a moment all the stress of, in my case, the university. When I have to  write about a really nice holidays, I think quickly in the last I have. I travel with my friends, we are out of the school, and a couple of us going in the university in March. The travel was in December, a really good time to relax and forget the PSU hahaha. We went to the Llanquihue Lake, in the tenth region of Chile. We camp for three days and one day, we had to stay in a cabin;  because start to rain and we can't wet ours things. But the experience was amazing, camping under the stars and with all the nature of it, was so beautiful. HI GUYS... how are you? Today I wanna talk about a country I would like to visit. When I have to talk about a country to visit, I think quickly in France. I have always wanted to visit France, because I think it's one of the most beautiful and interesting country in the world. Have the perfect mix of Europe, a big city like Paris, and towns with a wonderful culture. I'd like to visit France because I like the french too, and I want to learn it and can speak a little bit, so, I think going to France it's the better way to practice my french hahaha. Hi guys!! How are you doing?  The semester is ending, and this blog too. Hi guys! Guess what...this is the our next-to-last blog. Saddly, the semester it’s ending, and, english too. Today I'm gonna talk about my favorite subject of this semester (the first of Biochemistry), his name is General Chemistry I...a basic science subject; but a little bit difficult. What we do in classes? It's not sounds like a really fun class, but I like the chemistry; and the way to study here, in the university, it's interesting (in a nerd way haha). Usually, the professor explain the content, and the students take notes and make some questions. In the class we study, in the first classes, theorys about the atomic structure, the structure of the atoms, the chemicals bonds; this is really ambiguous, because we can't see to simple sight; but, to the same way, make sense to the others contents of the semester, like periodics propertys. Hi guys! How you doing? Today I wanna talk about a big person. As you know (I write about in another blog) I study Biochemistry. An today, I'm gonna talk about a big biochemical, and Chilean! His name is Pablo Valenzuela. Doctor Valenzuela studied Biochemstry in Universidad de Chile and is a Doctor in Chemistry in the University of Northwestern (PhD.) In the year 1974 it received the scholarship of the International Scientific Fellow (NIH) and came back to The United States. In 1981 Chiron Corporation fused the biotechnological company, where it clones and it sequenced the genome of the AIDS virus. The most importants investigation are the discovery of the hepatitis C, and the creation of the first vaccine for the hepatitis B.  Hi again guys! How are you?... I'm fine, just a little busy with University stuff.  Today we talk about anime, let's go!...the reason; I be honest, it's a homework of my english class.  The first time when I watched Anime, I don't know it. I was a little boy, about 8 years... and in the T.V I find a stranger and funny robot cat, blue and with a really cool pocket; his name? Doraemon. I love every story of Doraemon and his friend/owner Nobita. The story it's about this friendly couple, and how Doraemon help to fix all the problems of a little guy called Nobita; in a point of the story, Nobita and Doraemon was best friend...that at the end; /spoiler/ Doraemon has to gop back to his planet.  I'm not a real fun of the anime...To be honest, I never watched all the chapters of one, I don´t like it because, usually, the stories are or to "cute" or to exaggerated and fantastic (in the bad way). This picture was taken in 2016, in the hills of the north of Oregon, in United States. The name is "The Big Frozen" and the author is Nicholas Roemmelt. The picture shows the milky way; I think it's a wonderful pic, because it shows all the majesty of the sky in the night. Shows the stars, and the nebulas that conform the milky way, and, a simple sight; so it's wonderful. When I say "simple sight" I mean it's not something we can see in any night, but it's something we can see behind a camera.  I like the photography because can show things we can't see with our eyes; and that's magic.  All my life, the space and the sky capture my attention. I think it's because it's something so far and, in a way, misterious.  This picture shows the power of the man, the power of the curiosity and mix the science and the art in just a moment...so romantical haahha. For all the last reasons, this picture is my favourite, at the moment. 

When I have to speak about some trip, I can't forget my school trip. I think it's because I miss a little bit my friends and the nature and beauty of the south. My school trip was amazing. We travel in December with all my friends to Llanquihue Lake, in the tenth region of the country. One week next to the beach. The first day, we put together ours tents. The first breakfast was in the beach, drinking a cup of coffee and trying to eat ours sandwichs in the sand hahaha. The second day, we went to the Green Lagoon; next to this Lagoon, lives foxs and woodpeckers. The best part of the trip, was all the campfires in the night, we sing all the night, of course, we cooked a barbacue in the first nights. In the last day, we wake up and it was raining, so with all my friends we jump in the water and we swim in the laggon, with rain...was so amazing.

 Today, I wanna talk about the technology.  Because the technology it's A THING in our century. Well, I know technology is everything made by the man, but when I talk about technology, I mean about all the smart things, pretty much helpful in our time.  My favourite piece of technology is, obviously... the computer (hahaaha is not the smartphones). The computer, in my opinion, is the father of the smartphones, tablets and all the other devices. In my case, I have a notebook, since I have 14 years old, the brand of my computer is Lenovo, a very nice company I think. My parents give me my notebook for christmas *m*.  It's my favourite piece because with them, I can surf in the internet, I can see movies and series, I can read books, I can do everything about technology. I mean, it's all about computers in the industry... and, sadly, in the life.  The dark side about the computers is the dependency, the people nowadays can't live without the computers, and yeah...

The science, a big word. That it's all. The science it's, from the beggining, the true behind all we can see. I think that it's the main reason of study biochemistry. But not always was to study Biochemistry. When I was a child, my dream was to be an astronaut; that is so cliche, but I like the idea of explore the universe, know things about our origin. When I was in High School, my dream changed, now I wanted to be a doctor, I like the idea of help the people, study the human body, study the life, the anatomy of the body. In the last year of High School, everything change; I understand the reality of be a doctor; and I don't like it. So, I have a year for find my road. I just know one thing; I like science. First, my name is Cristóbal Mansilla. I’m from Chile, and now I live in Santiago of Chile, the capital of the country. I was born in Fresia, a little city next to Pto. Montt, and I live there all my life, but I change to study Biochemistry in the University of Chile. I’m a real fan of the science, and now I have the possibility of to go ahead with my curiosity and, in a couple of years, work in that. My interest in the science includes the biology of the living beings to the chemistry behind that life. But I like a lot of other things, like the literature; my favorite book is “The catcher in the rye”, because I’m amazed of the talent of JD Salinger (the author) of describe and write the story of an adolescent with a beautiful timelessness. Of course, I have other hobbies like cycling and watch movies and series.
